This small but mighty garden provides everything pollinators need to thrive -- food, water, shelter, and breeding grounds. Your role: This independent volunteer shift requires primarily watering and weeding and is appropriate for experienced, adult (18+) gardeners who can work without supervision. This activity is not eligible for court-ordered hours. Tend the pollinator garden at River Line Park! Must be 18+ with ability to work solo and have previous experience at this garden. ELIGILBILITY As a reminder, this activity is not eligible for court-ordered hours. You should only be signing up for this activity if you have volunteered at this garden previously. TIMING While the sign-up is for a specific time on Saturday, you may come any time during open hours on the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of the weekend you signed up for. For the summer, we have added Wednesday watering dates. Similar to the weekend, sign-up, if you are able to come the day before or after to check on the garden or water, that's totally fine. THINGS TO KNOW This is an independent activity meant for experienced gardeners, so there will be no staff on site. You will need a code to access the required equipment, including a hose to water. A reminder about watering: Please water the roots of the plants in the garden and avoid overhead water to reduce the spread of fungal disease. If you are unable to fill this shift, please let us know as soon as possible. WEEKLY TASKS: For now, the primary task will be watering, but
