IMPORTANT NOTES *This volunteer opportunity is appropriate for ages 8+ *Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult *This opportunity cannot fulfill court-ordered hours LOCATION This Pollinator Pocket garden is located across from the splash pad at River Line Park (6043 Oakdale Rd.). As you enter the park, the garden is directly to your right, near the sidewalk. PARKING You may park in the regular parking lot and walk back to the garden, or you may park in the field around the garden, which is also used as a parking lot. WHAT TO BRING Tools and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your gloves and tools if you prefer. Typical activities include weeding, deadheading, pruning, cleaning the birdbath and pollinator watering stations, and other light maintenance. Please dress for the weather and bring water. WEATHER & CANCELLATIONS If weather is dangerous or extremely uncomfortable (e.g., pouring rain, below freezing temperatures) we will cancel. Otherwise, this is a rain or shine event.
