The words "add salt to taste," written by a hand that knew exactly how much salt that meant. Recipes carry more than instructions. They hold memory and ritual. They are physical artifacts of the people who passed them down. In this hands-on workshop, cursive artist and educator Stef Alicia McCalmon leads participants through the relationship between handwriting, food, heritage, and design. You'll reflect on recipes as personal archives and create a handwritten recipe keepsake using lettering and mixed materials. What to Expect: Arrive at 5:30 PM to see the latest exhibition.
