Our Summer camp program strives to promote positive decision making, educational improvements and personal development for elementary-aged school children. Your role: Each day is different! You will have one-on-one or group interactions to assist with enrichment activities such as, reading, math, art & crafts activities, snack time, field trips and more! Star-C Summer camp! Help with meals, snacks and assist site leaders with a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities for elementary ages kids. Organized by Star-C Programs. Tips: Upon registration, please note the additional address information provided on your confirmation page. **Important**: When you register to volunteer, we kindly request your commitment to stay for the entire duration of the program, as listed, out of consideration for the children involved. Star-C Learning Center: The center is located inside of an apartment community. Enter the community and follow the signs to the leasing office. Drive past the dumpster and gate, then continue until you see the pool and leasing office on your right. Drive past the leasing office and make the first left. You’ll go up a small hill, Building K will be directly on your right. Make an immediate right, the dog park on your left. Continue straight and you’ll see the Star-C building on your right, marked by a glass door and grassy field. The Star-C Learning Center is located in Building J5-8. Parking is available in any nearby open space. Your volunteer hours will be recorded based on your sign-in and sign-out times, which will be documented by your site director. Upon arrival, please check in with Mr. Tryvon our Site Director, for further instructions regarding your volunteer day.
