Our Summer camp program strives to promote positive decision making, educational improvements and personal development for elementary-aged school children. Your role: Each day is different! You will have one-on-one or group interactions to assist with enrichment activities such as, reading, math, art & crafts activities, snack time, field trips and more! Star-C Summer camp! Help with meals, snacks and assist site leaders with a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities for elementary ages kids. Organized by Star-C Programs. Tips: Important Information After Registration: Once you have registered, please save this information: Please note: When you register to volunteer, we ask that you commit to staying for the entire duration of the program times listed. This ensures a consistent experience for the children in the program. This volunteer opportunity is for an after-school enrichment program located on-site at a community center within an apartment community. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER INTO SUMMERDALE APTS. Please enter through the second gate on the left, marked with the Springview Apartments sign. Do not use the first gate, as it is the exit gate, even if it appears open. After entering, bear left toward the green dumpsters straight ahead. You’ll see a yellow mural painted on the side of the building to the left of the dumpsters. You may park in any empty parking space nearby. Then, walk up the pathway to the yellow door this is the Star-C Learning Center. Volunteer hours will be recorded based on your sign-in and sign-out signature, which your site director will share with you on-site. Your completed volunteer hours will be updated in the Hands on Atlanta system on the Monday following your participation. Upon arrival, please check in with Ms. Kalia (Site Director) f
